Taking creeping to a whole new level.
Over $30,000 has been raised for charity as part of
Mojam; a 60 hour project to develop a game.
Mojang is giving you the chance to see what it takes to develop a game as they attempt create a game in just 60 hours. A
livestream is being run so that people can look over the shoulders of everyone involved in the process. The team hit the $30,000 milestone in just five hours, so there is still plenty of time to witness the development of the game and to contribute.
Based on a poll of more than 100,000 users, Mojang is creating a real-time strategy shoot 'em up with a steampunk ancient Egypt theme! This project is part of a
Humble Bundle, which means that people can pay for the game at any time during the jam and choose their own price point. All proceeds from this venture go to charity with up to four non-profit organisations being supported: the Child's Play Charity, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, the American Red Cross, and Charity: Water.
