My anticipation for Far Cry 4 is already at fever pitch but it seems Ubisoft still has surprises in store.
In addition to the massive single player and a fully featured co-op mode, it seems the game will also feature team competitive play thanks to the Battles of Kyratgame type. In it, two teams of players with vastly different skill sets will face off against each other to complete goals - like securing an area or taking a creepy mask.
As ever though, the games come with their own Far Cry style twist. Here's the reveal trailer.
Bullets vs mysticism is a great dynamic for a team game, and it echoes the dual fronts of the game itself which features trips to an alternative realm as well as plenty of conventional killing. The game modes may be fairly familiar but you can be sure that Ubisoft will milk plenty of variety from the format, and its just one small part of the overall Far Cry 4 experience.
Far Cry 4 is coming to consoles and PC from the 18th of November 2014.
