We all know how Sony likes to keep their devices up to date with regular firmware updates, but it's not too often that someone outside the company manages to let things slip about proposed release dates. Unfortunately for Dylan Cuthbert of QGames, that's precisely what he has done in an interview. When asked about the lack of compatibility on the Vita for PSP favourite, PixerlJunk Monsters, Cuthbert said that as far as he was aware it's still not working on the current firmware, but he noted that it was possible that may change when the latest firmware update is released in April.
Okay so it's not exactly concrete, but nor is it a shocking revelation that will surprise anyone - we all knew that there'd be another firmware update released some time soon. Hopefully they can get rid of that nonsense of tying the Vita to a single PSN account and instead tie the memory cards to the account, letting those of us who have multiple PSN accounts enjoy our games without the painful switch-over process!
