Development studio Ninja Theory has announced that it's got some big plans for GDC Europe, which takes place in Cologne, Germany in August. The studio has said it'll be showcasing a brand new project that's in development for next gen systems, as well as lifting the lid on some projects that never saw the light of day for one reason or another.
The intriguing glimpse behind the scenes at cancelled projects will be one of the more interesting showcases we can remember for a major games event, as titles that fail to see the light of day are often completely forgotten about, with little information available after cancellation. One of the titles to be shown in this manner is a follow up to Kung Fu Chaos.
As for the new game the studio is working on, well that's being kept closely under wraps for the time behind, however a recent job listing for the company suggested that it was planning to work on a title using the Unreal 4 Engine, and was searching for someone with triple-A experience for a title to feature melee, stealth and shooting mechanics.
Would it be too much to hope for a follow up to the criminally underrated Heavenly Sword perhaps?
