Nintendo reveals transparent 2DS designs

Nintendo today announced the Transparent Red and Transparent Blue 2DS designs, which will go on sale on November 7th.

The release of these colours will tie in with the release of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire remakes for 3DS, which will be released at the end of the month. 2DS bundles featuring each game with the respective 2DS design will be available from November 28th. Each bundle will include a digital copy of the game pre-installed on a 4GB memory card.

Nintendo also confirmed that certain retailers will have demo codes available from October 15th. GAME, Amazon, Smyth Toys, ShopTo and the Nintendo UK Official Store will all send out download codes for the demo from that date. You'll also be able to get codes from Nintendo Life and Wikia from mid-November.

While most demos just provide players with a taste of the full game experience, it will be possible to acquire a special, unnamed Pokémon Mega Evolution that can be transferred into the main game alongside any acquired items.
