Octodad wobbling its way to Xbox One this summer

Octodad: Deadliest Catch will be released on Xbox One this summer, starring its destructive and clumsy, but completely normal otherwise, father-figure.

The Xbox One release will include the game’s two Shorts add-ons for free. One puts players in the tentacles of Octodad as he goes on his first date with now-wife Scarlet. The other is a “what if” scenario with Octodad acting as a surgeon. Suddenly Surgeon Simulator looks like a pretty easy game.

Octodad: Deadliest Catch will support four-player co-op in which each player controls a separate limb. The game will run in 1080p.

Can you master the simplest of tasks, while attempting to blend in with society? No one suspects a thing…except one particularly driven individual who will attempt to tear Octodad’s family apart.

There’s no concrete release date just yet. The most specific that ID@Xbox is willing to be is “summer 2015.”
