Of course, that doesn’t mean that there won’t be plenty of characters trying to kill you. There are humans around, as well as the series’ iconic Xenomorph, who won’t hesitate to shoot in your direction, which between the bullets and the noise is less than ideal.
Speaking with GamesTM, Napper said that a stealthy approach seems right for the character. He explained, “It's something that was, not so much a challenge, but something I felt was what the character would do. We're talking about a member of the Ripley family - they're not like characters in games that gun down civilians because they're in the way to get to the switch."
The game has a play time of approximately 15 hours, but this will depend on how much exploration is done and how many encounters with the alien you have. Napper revealed that stealthy players may not see the alien for ages as they've done nothing to call him down or there have been no explosions that he has come to investigate. Those players could get through the game quicker as a result.
Alien Isolation will be released on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on October 7th.
