The PlayStation 4 has been doing pretty well around the world, with Sony recently announcing sales in excess of 18 million units since its launch in late 2013.But it's not out everywhere yet, and there seems to be a major issue with its rollout in China.
The PS4 was set to arrive in China on the 11th of January 2015 but a press release from Sony Computer Entertaiment has confirmed that it will be postponed, citing 'various circumstances.' There's no significant further information and a new date hasn't been mentioned, though Sony says they are still committed to releasing the hardware in the new territory.
The PS4 would have been the first ever PlayStation console to launch in China, after recent legislation changes which allowed for more foreign hardware to be sold in the country. Microsoft launched the Xbox One there in September 2014 and Sony will want to follow suit to grab some of the lucrative market of more than 1 billion people.
