Tom Clancy's The Division is set for release in March 2016 but before that a closed beta is getting ready to launch.
The beta will kick off on Xbox One on the 28th of January and arrives on the PS4 a day later. It will give players a chance to get to grips with the action packed gameplay at the end of the world, including the Dark Zones which engages PvP play. There's also a broken world to try to heal, with more of an RPG part of the game that sees you stocking up resources to improve your base and maybe give the survivors a fighting chance.
It's not known yet exactly how much content will be included in the beta but Ubisoft will certainly want to test as much as they can ahead of release. You can get a beta key by pre-ordering the game or also by registering on this waiting list for free keys. Ubisoft will also be giving out codes on social media at regular intervals.
The Beta content can be preloaded now for those who have already gained access - the client runs around 26 gigs so make sure to get it started ahead of time or you'll miss out on some of that dystopian action. The beta ends on the 31st of January 2016 and the game launches properly on the 8th of March.
