Prison Architect hops the fence to consoles soon

Prison Architect served its time in Early Access on PC being released in full. The prison building and management sim will soon be transferred over to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360, according to developer Introversion.

Double Eleven, the folks that handled ports of Limbo and Goat Simulator, are taking care of the Prison Architect post. Introversion co-founder Mark Morris revealed in a PlayStation blog post that the initial reaction to Prison Architect was great, which then made them consider bringing it to console.

“The team at Double Eleven approached us with their ideas for how to make the PlayStation 4 Edition and we were really excited about where they wanted to take it,” he added.

The upcoming console version will allow prison architects to share their creations with others or try out prisons from around the world.
