Project CARS stalls on the grid – release pushed back to April

It’s tough being a fan of racing games these days. Project CARS is being pushed back once again, meaning that it is now due to come out on April 2nd.

Slightly Mad Studios today announced that it was shifting the release date back for the second time to make some final adjustments. Head of Studio at Slightly Mad Studios, Ian Bell, said that it wasn’t an easy decision to make. “But we know that these extra days will allow us to provide the best game experience that our fans deserve,” he added.

Project CARS was originally scheduled for release in November, 2014, before being delayed until March 20th. Those eagerly awaiting the arrival of the sim racer will be hoping that this is the last news of this kind.

Project CARS will now be released on April 2nd on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Nothing has been said with regards to how this affects the planned Wii U version of the title, though news has been quiet on that front for some time.
