Rainbow Six Siege's Operation Black Ice update is out now

Rainbow Six Siege's first free update, Operation Black Ice, has been released, bringing with it a brand new map and two new operators.

The update is free to all players, as part of Ubisoft's commitment not to split the player base. The map is titled Yacht and sees the action take place on and around a crashed yacht.

The two new operators, Frost and Buck, represent the elite Canadian special operations JTF 2 force. Season Pass holders get instant access to these operators, while non-Season Pass holders will be able to unlock them in-game using Renown in-game currency or R6 Credits from February 9th.

The update also adds a number of weapon skins and the ability to use Spectator Camera in custom games.

Operation Black Ice is now available and you can see what it includes in the trailer below.
