Public opinion on The Order: 1886 has been up and down in recent months. On the one hand it looks astounding, pushing next gen hardware to their limits in terms of presentation. On the other hand the gameplay looks to be a mixture of third person cover shooting and quick time events. This isn’t up to scratch, especially not with Hideo Kojima’s MGSV on the horizon, rocking a smooth 1080p at 60 frames per second with more gameplay systems than you can shake a stick at!
But no-one could fault the arsenal of electric gizmos developer Ready at Dawn have crafted for their incoming shooter. Indeed, so inspired were the team by Nikola Tesla (rightly so) and his astounding scientific acumen, that they essentially turned him into The Order’s Quartermaster. So even though you may be facing down brutes, werewolves and spectral nasties, they’ll all respond to a few million volts to the face in much the same way!
The Order: 1886 releases exclusively for PS4 on February 20th 2015
