We've never been short of re-releases for the Resident Evil series but the 20th anniversary of the original game is giving Capcom a reason to go back to the well again.
To celebrate two decades since that bloody dog jumped through that bloody window, Resis 4, 5 and 6 will be getting re-released on Xbox One and PS4. But because it can't just make sense the games will be released in reverse order - 6 in March, 5 around summer and 4 before the end of 2016.
Here's an excited trailer.
It's been a while since we've truly enjoyed a Resi game but the idea of getting to play the fourth game again with some slightly spruced up graphics is appealing, even if this feels like the 700th time it is being farmed out for gamers. The new versions of the games will cost around 20 quid and will be available digitally and also as physical copies.
