The Division’s multiplayer beta will get underway on January 29th if tip-offs from retailers are to be believed.
A Reddit user claims to have received an e-mail from online retailer FunStock Digital, in which it states that “the closed beta starts on the 29th January.” It goes on to say that it will be receiving and distributing beta keys for those who pre-order the game in the next two weeks before the beta gets underway.
The FunStock Digital rep reportedly went on to say that this was the information provided by the key supplier. It did not divulge whether this was Ubisoft or a third-party.
The beta was previously scheduled to begin in December of last year, but was then pushed back to “early 2016.” Ubisoft will not comment on the actual date that the beta will get underway.
You can get access to The Division’s multiplayer beta by pre-ordering the game or by paying more than the average for the latest Humble Bundle. The Division will be released on March 8th.
