Rime showed up at E3 in 2013 to great fanfare. It looked gorgeous, had a thrilling looking setting and the great premise of a young fellow who must escape a mysterious island. Did I mention it was rather pretty.
Check out the artstyle and the soundtrack, those massive moments and the struggle of the tiny little human person. What's the key thing? And the tower other thing? What are those balls with legs up to!?
So it looks good, and previous footage has only increased our anticipation for the latest game from Spanish devs Tequila Works. But since then it's all been pretty quiet. A release date was never officially confirmed but the general consensus was that it would appear in 2015, a fact all but confirmed by Tequila on Twitter.
Now, a massive list of upcoming Sony PlayStation games for 2015 has been released, including titles on Vita, PS3 and PS4 and there's no sign of Rime in there. It could be an oversight or a quiet confirmation that it's going to be a little longer until we see this game on our PS4's. Best to take the time to get it right Tequila!
Rime will come out at some point. Be patient!
