Rockstar Confirms Games Affected by GameSpy Shutdown
Good news for GTA V fans...

Rockstar has announced that some of its titles will be affected by the GameSpy server shutdown at the end of next month, however there's good news for Grand Theft Auto V players as the game's online future won't suffer any ill effects.

The list of titles that'll be hit by the shutdown is, thankfully, restricted to older titles in the studio's catalogue, with the following games set to either lose some features, or the entirety of their online modes:

Max Payne 3 (Mac) - No online features after May 31st
Midnight Club: Los Angeles (PS3) - No online features after May 31st
Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition (All Platforms) - No online features after May 31st
Red Dead Redemption (All Platforms) - No Social Club stat tracking/leaderboards after May 31st
Grand Theft Auto IV (All Platforms) - No Social Club stat tracking/leaderboards after May 31st
Midnight Club LA (All Platforms) -No Social Club stat tracking/leaderboards after May 31st
Red Dead Redemption (PS3) - No in-game leaderboards after May 31st
Grand Theft Auto IV (PS3) -No in-game leaderboards after May 31st
Midnight Club LA (PS3) -No in-game leaderboards after May 31st
Beaterator (PSP) - No Social Club features after May 31st
Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars (PSP & DS) - No Social Club features after May 31st

It's possible that some of those changes may come into effect before the 31st of May, but that date is the very latest they'll be active, so if you're looking to have a final blast at some of your old favourites, now is most definitely the time to do so.
