SEGA will be collaborating with Gogogic to develop
Godsrule: War of Mortals, a free-to-play, cross-platform build and battle game. The title will be available to play in browsers or on iPad.The Icelandic developer has previously been responsible for the iOS title,
Tiny Places, and
Vikings of Thule. It also has experience with developing multiplayer games for browsers and mobile devices, so it looks as though SEGA has made the right choice of partner.
With this collaboration, SEGA is aiming to solidify its position as a leader in the free-to-play and cross-platform gaming space. Vice President of Digital Business at SEGA of America, Chris Olson, said, “We choose our partners carefully and Gogogic has a demonstrated ability in creating top-flight games that resonate with their players. We look forward to building new worlds with them.”
Godsrule: War of Mortals is currently in closed Beta for browser and iPad. However, interested players are invited to register on the
game’s website and will receive free premium currency for a limited time.
