Yesterday we brought you early news about the editor mode in the PC version of GTA V and now we've got some video footage to show you just how much you can do with this mode.
Here's the video telling you all about the Rockstar Editor.
There's just so much to look forward to here, pushing the Rockstar Editor way beyond mere game capture. The marquee stuff like being able to use in game NPCs as actors is impressive, we can't wait for one featuring just feline performers, as well as the ability to mess with the normal, relatively grounded rules of the GTA-verse to create an overpowered action movie. But there's plenty of more complicated stuff going on as well, including the chance to use slow motion during scenes to add tension and cool factor and the way you can make any of the camera angles behave like a real lens, complete with depth of field effects.
You can bet that we'll have plenty of fun content appearing over the next few weeks and months but what I'm most excited about is the people who will take the time to really learn the ins and outs of the system to create videos which have a real professional sheen. Together with the updated graphics available in the PC version of GTA V, I imagine it won't be long before we see some really impressive short films coming out of the Rockstar Editor.
The Rockstar Editor is available exclusively on the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V, which is out now.
