Six new screenshots are out from
SimCity, showing how roads are the important element when it comes to constructing your city. The water data layer image shows how water pipes take care of themselves, once you have roads connected to buildings and facilities (which you have to anyway).
Roads dictate how dense structures will be. The two city-wide shots showcase just how dense players can make the city. Personally, I’d like a two-storey house to myself in the suburbs, but apartments are the most coveted structure in SimCity.
And for good measure, there’s a bit of city wide destruction with meteors raining down.
SimCity will be released in North America on March 5th and in Europe on March 8th.
