Skateboard company petitioning EA to make Skate 4

Fans have been crying out for a new Skate game for years, but EA hasn’t pushed ahead with it yet. Now, The Berrics, an indoor skatepark owned by professional skateboarders Steve Berra and Eric Koston, is starting a movement to put a little more pressure on EA.

It’s also capitalising on Donald Trump’s campaign slogan, so it’s a pretty timely “movement.” An instagram photo featured a hat that read “Make EA Skate Again,” sitting atop a copy of Skate 3.

The campaign has been met with plenty of enthusiasm on Reddit and social networks.

Last month, it was revealed that skateboarding will be a part of the 2020 Olympic Games. Perhaps the time is right for a new Skate game. Skate fans will be hoping that, if there is a comeback, it goes better than the most recent Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater title.
