Sociable Soccer, the upcoming spiritual successor to Sensible Soccer from Jon Hare, will feature a League of Ireland team.
Responding to a fan query on Twitter, the development team said that whoever is crowned the champion of the League of Ireland will be a playable team. However, they will be entered as a fake, but customisable team, so you’ll have to do a little bit of tweaking if you want the authentic experience.
From the now-cancelled Kickstarter campaign, Sociable Soccer looks to emulate the playstyle of Sensible Soccer. It will feature fast paced, arcade style football, endless friendly matches, 30 single player trophies, DIY tournaments, and online multiplayer modes that include clan based leagues.
The team has been touring with a demo build of the game, though there are no concrete release plans just yet.
