Sony has been sending out invites for a PlayStation Meeting event on September 7 in New York where it is likely to reveal the PlayStation Neo.
This official announcement comes shortly after rumours emerged that the event would be held on this date. The invite simply says “PlayStation Meeting,” but you’d have to imagine that Sony will be sharing news about the Neo.
Sony has previously confirmed that it is working on the Neo and that the console is intended to "sit alongside and complement the standard PS4." Otherwise, it has kept quiet, opting not to reference the console at E3 this summer despite Microsoft announcing both the Xbox One S and referencing Project Scorpio.
We’ll have more news about this mysterious console in a matter of weeks.
