Sony Unveils Trailer for Panopticon
Following a week-long countdown, Sony posts Panopticon trailer.
PlayStation’s Japanese website just released a trailer for a new game from Japan Studio, under the page name of Panopticon. A week long count-down on the page was today replaced by this trailer depicting a futuristic and totalitarian society where citizens are identified and arrested on the basis of virtual identification tags. No release dates or platforms have been indicated yet.

Earlier this year, Sony Computer Entertainment trademarked Panopticon, further hinting that this is indeed the title’s name. Panopticon is from Greek roots and roughly translates to “include everything visible in one view”; pan meaning all inclusive and opticon meaning a vision or observation.
