One month after Obsidian Entertainment finally released the oft-delayed South Park: The Stick of Truth, it has received a price drop at retailers like GameStop and Amazon. The game now costs a mere $40, a much better price when compared to the original $60 launch price from last month.
The price reduction is good for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 versions of the game over at Amazon and Ubisoft's website, while GameStop's price drop only affects console versions of the game. Meanwhile at Steam, the game is still selling for the original full retail price. It's unclear if the new $40 price is simply a promotion or an official reduction.
