Nintendo's Wii U exclusive Splatoon has now sold more than 1 million copies in Europe.
Nintendo Europe made the announcement on Twitter accompanied by an adorable drawing from the game's art director, Seita Inoue.
The game has performed incredibly well for Nintendo, selling 4.06 million copies worldwide as of December 2015. That made it the best selling Wii U game that didn't feature Mario.
A new IP on the Wii U would have been seen as a risk by many, particularly when it's a multiplayer-focused first-person shooter, but Nintendo have managed to pull it off.
Fans will be hoping that a Splatoon sequel will arrive early in the NX's, Nintendo's next console, lifetime. It would be even better if it was released as a launch title.
