Star Wars Battlefront gets new free content

If you're still fighting for your life in a galaxy far, far away there's good news in the form of free new content.

Star Wars Battlefront is offering plenty of paid for content over the coming months but those guys at DICE and EA have also been pretty generous with the free DLC so far. And it looks like that's not stopping any time soon, with some extra free stuff launched today. There's a new Survival Mission (which can be played both solo and co-op) which is set on Tatooine at a Rebel Outpost. In addition, there's a new map called Survivors of Endor, which is set up for Walker Assault, Turning Point and Supremacy play.

This content dropped with little fanfare and will be eclipsed by the Outer Rim DLC pack which is arriving later in the month but will certainly give fanatical players another reason to dip back in to the blasters and jetpack action.
