Tales from the Borderlands Getting Live Cinema Playthrough - Also on Twitch!

Tales From the Borderlands is an all new, episodic adventure title from Telltale Games and its already shaping up to be quite the event. So why not make it a little bigger with a live theatrical presentation!

On November the 24th (that's a day before release) the game will be played LIVE at a special event at the Alamo Drafthouse in Texas. Telltale Games and Gearbox will show off their ambitious new title, with the audience helping to drive the important choices which defineTelltale titles.

That's all very cool - and thankfully it will also be available from Nerdist.com on their Twitch channel. In addition, there will be prizes for everyone on the night, and special recognition for the best cosplayers. It sounds like quite the event, fitting for what promises to be an interesting crossover between the zaniness of Borderlands and the great storytelling of Telltale.

It certainly does seem to imply that the entire first episode Zer0 Sum will be played through (with a mentioned running time of 135 minutes - quite long by these episodic standards) - so won't that kind of spoil the story, especially as its going to happen just the day before the retail release?

Best to keep an eye out for spoilers if you're planning to check out the stream on Twitch.

Tales from the Borderlands episode one arrives on consoles and PC from the 25th of November 2014.
