Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon
will feature a multiplayer mode known as Hunter mode, allowing up to four players to team up to capture ghosts. This mode will be playable locally or with other players from around the world, as the team attempts to clear the Scarescraper tower floor by floor. Before you start the game, you will be able to choose how many floors you wish to take on along with the difficulty.
The trailer showcases the game in action as the four players hunt down ghosts before the clock hits zero. Like in Nintendo Land's Luigi's Ghost Mansion, players will be able to revive fallen comrades. Bonuses and upgrades are awarded depending on how well you do. These are likely to come in handy when you take on the boss battle at the top of each tower.
Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon will be released on Nintendo 3DS. It is currently scheduled for release on March 24th in North America, and has the broader release date of March in Europe.
