Stoic Entertainment is back with The Banner Saga 2.
The sequel to their 2014 PC hit, which arrived on consoles in early 2016, will up the scale of the game and features improvements to combat. There are new people to fight with and against, and an extension of the mix of story, turn based gameplay and cruel choices for the player to make. It's set for release on April 19th.
Here's the annoucement trailer.
The cut scenes are looking better than ever, and they'll inform your attempt to keep a band of Vikings from meeting their end in the snowy wastes. The actual fights themselves take place in a turn based manner on gorgeously tiled landscapes and you can easily lose your entire force if you're not careful. We're expecting a release on PS4 and Xbox One in future but for now this is PC only.
The Banner Saga 2 is out April 19th and currently costs €17.99 on Steam.
