The Division, gosh that's been a while coming.
The Ubisoft title has been in development for over three years and was first shown off at E3 2013 with a proposed release in 2014. That date later slipped into 2015 and the current release is set for March 2016.
The latest news is that a proposed beta for The Division - which was set to begin in December 2015 - has now also slipped into 2016. A limited closed beta will happen on Xbox One before the end of the year but no footage will be released publically. The plan is for the comprehensive beta to arrive early in the new year, well before the release of the game.
We're getting pretty used to hearing about delays from The Division camp, with at least three Ubisoft studios working on the development over the last several years. And while the release date is currently set, we wouldn't be surprised to hear about another slip in the not so distant future.
