New content and screenshots have been released for The Last of Us. Unfortunately, they reveal very little in terms of what can be expected from the PlayStation 3 exclusive. The game is expected to be revealed officially at the Spike TV Video Game Awards on Saturday, December 10th.
Until then, fans will have to console themselves by analysing the screenshots and game trailer for titbits of information. One screenshot of the game looks stunning and the visual quality is promising. Another shows the front page of a newspaper with a US president addressing a “panicked nation”. Various stories detail military activity and quarantines failing. This crisis is not confined to US shores. One story’s headline reads “England latest to declare martial law”.
The next teaser date etched on the website is December 10th. Hopefully the makeup of the game will become clearer.
