EA has just released the latest trailer for
Need for Speed: The Run, which showcases the games multiplayer offerings.
Powered by DICE’s incredible Frostbite 2 engine, The Run is set to deliver unrivalled cinematic thrills as it tells the story of a frantic race from San Francisco to New York, including sequences outside of the car for the first time in the NFS series.
Online, you’ll get the chance to go head to head with racers from all over the world, with matchmaking facilitated by the latest version of EA’s class leading Autolog system. It will track you’re every movement, even allowing players to compete against their friends while working their way through the single player story missions.
You can also join races already in progress instead of waiting in lobbies, create a party with friends, pick a playlist of your favourite challenges and compete for supremacy across every stage of The Run. By mastering all of the playlists you can level up and earn access to exclusive vehicles, upgrades and abilities with the Bonus Wheel. Unique competitive modes bring all the excitement of The Run to your online experience while you’ll get unique perks and random elements from the bonus wheel.
Need for Speed: The Run is coming to Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on the 18th of November.
