Atlus are clearly not afraid of being unconventional. Three trailers have been showcased at E3 this week and are unlike anything else seen. It must be questioned how these titles were brainstormed and then refined. But, at the end of the day, they do look like interesting titles.
Catherine
It’s time to meet Vincent, the protagonist of the upcoming action-adventure puzzler from Atlus. He’s not quite the typical star of a video game but that’s what makes Catherine all the more intriguing. From other details that have been revealed, Catherine looks a bit mad to say the least. There will be a version for Europe, but no publisher has been found just yet.
Rock of Ages
It looks like Rock of Ages belongs in a Monty Python sketch, and if that doesn’t excite you then the game may not be for you. Rock of Ages involves rolling over enemies and rampant acts of destruction. The game will feature both a story mode and several multiplayer modes. Rock of Ages is to be released on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and PC.
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked
Peaceful days are over; that is the promise of Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked. The title builds upon the original release with the addition of voice acting and remastered artwork and character portraits.
