The Witcher 3 is undoubtedly one of the best games around, and also one of the most attractive as you wander a wild world filled with monsters of all ilks and creeds.
We've recently been treated to the Game of the Year edition which brings together all of the DLC as well as a final patch, and it turns out we won't be seeing more from the folks at CD Project RED.
When a fan asked if there would be a PS4 Pro version of The Witcher 3, they got a pretty definitive answer:
Honestly this isn't at all surprising. CDPR has been putting everything into The Witcher 3 for years and the company as a whole has moved onto their new projects. There's no real advantage to punching up this game yet again, it already looks great and we're still not sure that folks are even all that interested in 4K gaming. Plus we really, really want Cyberpunk 2077.
As a small company it wouldn't make much sense to dedicate the resources necessary to a new version of the game. The good news is that The Witcher 3 will be fully playable on the PS4 Pro, and it might even run a little smoother thanks to the new hardware.
