The developers of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt, CD Project RED, continue to bethe nicest people ever by giving us more free DLC this week!
This counts for packs 5 and 6, with 16 in total planned over the first 8 weeks of release. We've had extra missions, clothing and alt looks for characters and this week's DLC looks like this.
That's a new set of armour for Geralt and access to two new, and fancy, crossbows. As before, you'll have to dive into the digital store to manually download these new packs at least on PS4 and Xbox One. Then you'll also have to find the items in stores in the game world and purchase them with your hard-earned monster-killin' coin.
In this case, you can find one of the crossbows and the armour in the home of the Red Baron, just chat to his quartermaster. There's a crossbow on the isles of Skellige with the Kaer Trolde Castle Blacksmith and an Elven model at the Fancy Shop in Novigrad. At least that's according to Gamespot who got to play with these new toys early.
And all you have to do to get these extra DLC packs is own the game on any console - plus you'll be able to download them in the future whenever you get around to picking up one of the best games we've played in years.
There's paid for DLC planned for late 2015 and early 2016 as well. A wealth of content really.
The Witcher 3 is out now on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
