Tomb Raider is out in a month.
It’s got a mature tone and even secured a corresponding age rating.
It boasts an open world,
12 hour campaign, optional sideys and online multiplayer.
Its voice cast is considerable (relatively) with
Camilla Luddington taking the lead.
It won a horse-load of
E3 Awards back in 2011 and we’ve previewed it twice.
TWICE!
Here.... aaaaand
here.
Hell, it even enjoyed a totally overblown flash-in-the-pan controversy that had all the eyeballs on
Lara.
And still no-one seems to care....
Maybe it’s because
Crystal Dynamics and
Square Enix insist on releasing these vaguely condescending instructional gameplay videos rather than showcaseing everything it’s got going for it - The gameplay, graphics, performance, environments, narrative, voice-work, swimming.... maybe scratch that last one...
Tomb Raider scrambles its way onto shelves (though we are running out of those here in
Ireland) on March 5th.
It’ll probably be really awesome.
Please don’t forget about it!
