Tomb Raider's PS4 release will have VR compatible chapter

Rise of the Tomb Raider will be released on PlayStation 4 on October 11 and will feature a VR compatible chapter.

The new chapter, titled Blood Ties, will be playable with or without a PlayStation VR headset. But if you are picking one up, you'll likely be glad to see that it's being supported in AAA games.

The PlayStation 4 release will also come with new online co-op Endurance gameplay, more outfits, weapons, and Expedition Cards, as well as all of the previously released DLC.

Those looking for more of a challenge may be intrigued by the inclusion of a new Extreme Survivor difficulty, which removes the automatic checkpoints.

And finally, five classic Lara Croft models, including a version of the original of the species, will be selectable. That should make for some amusing screenshots.
