The demo opens with a character saying that he’s not going to hold your hand. It’s up to the player to study their surroundings and come up with their own plan of action. Players will be able to approach missions as they see fit rather than following a predetermined best route.
Creative director Alex Amancio explains that missions take place in a black box. This gives players a little more freedom to plan out what they want to do and then execute it. He says that “no linear paths or narrow level design are forced upon you."
