Uncharted 4 pushed back to April 2016

Those counting down the days to Uncharted 4's release will have to wait a little longer. Uncharted 4 has been delayed until April 29th.

Naughty Dog Creative Director Neil Druckmann and Game Director Bruce Straley announced the news on the PlayStation Blog, stating that a little more time is needed to ensure that the game meets the team's "standards and vision."

"This is our largest Uncharted game to date, and the team has been working incredibly hard to meet the challenge of closing out the game’s development in a timely manner. However, as we approached our final deadlines and started wrapping up the game’s levels, we realized that several key sequences needed extra resources to bring them to the finish line," they explained.

On the plus side, production is being wrapped up and Uncharted 4 looks set to be the send off for Nathan Drake that he deserves.

Naughty Dog says that Uncharted 4 will be the most ambitious installment in the series. Uncharted 4 will be released on April 29th, a little more than a month after it was previously expected.
