Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End was unveiled recently by Sony at E3 2014 and that means developers Naughty Dog are in high gear trying to get it ready for release.
The game won’t ship til next year but that doesn’t mean they’re keeping quiet. One of the coding animators on Uncharted 4, Corrinne Yu, took to Twitter to chat about what it was like to work with the PS4.
The developer revealed that the PS4 is a ‘joy to code’ and gives them more resources to work with. She also confirmed that the superb E3 trailer was captured in real-time from the game engine.
Uncharted 4 is guaranteed to be one of the best games on the PS4 platform but that doesn’t mean the series will last for ever. Acclaimed voice actor Nolan North has said that the end is nigh, but it’s better to go out on top. Talking IGN, the actor said:“If this is the last one indeed, and I believe it’s the last one – nothing’s confirmed, but I believe it’s the last one Naughty Dog wants to do, in which case I hope somebody else doesn’t pick up the mantle because they’ve done it so well for so long.”
Uncharted 4 will arrive exclusively on PS4 in 2015.
