Uncharted Collection pops up on PS Store

A banner for Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection has appeared on the PlayStation Store.

Apparently it popped up ahead of schedule, as Naughty Dog's Neil Druckmann confirmed that the collection exists and that more news will be announced very shortly. He tweeted, “Well... that hit a few hours too early. See you in the AM. G'night y'all.”

The banner only appears on the mobile site, and only in the United States. But it’s promising news at least.

The collection of the first three Uncharted games has been long rumoured, and it looks like it’s about to become official.

We would expect Sony to release the story so far on PlayStation 4 ahead of the release of the upcoming Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. Unlike titles like Infamous or Killzone, the narrative in Uncharted 4 will be linked to previous events, making it more vital to catch up ahead of time rather than starting afresh as these franchises allowed for at the beginning of the console’s life.

Expect more news about Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection shortly.
