Ninja Theory’s surprisingly competent
DMC reboot gets its first batch of
DLC today in the form of a much needed
Bloody Palace mode. This
Devil May Cry staple which offers players 100 levels worth of foes to
choppy chop chop McKillFace!
Then on February 28th a good old fashioned Campaign expanding chunk of DLC arrives in the form of
Vergil’s Downfall.
Set directly after a certain climactic showdown, this DLC chronicles a sunny romp, as
Vergil frolics naked through the fields of Elysium. Or at least something to that effect.
Priced at 720 MS Points or €8.99 on PS3,
Vergil’s Downfall offers a fresh campaign slice, new weapons, four difficulty modes and a plethora of new combos to master.
In our Review we argued that,
“for now, consider Devil May Cry well and truly rebooted. Right up its arse!”
