Police have had to issue another warning to Pokémon Go players not to play while driving after someone crashed into a Baltimore Police car during their hunt for Pokémon.
Baltimore Police posted a video on their Twitter account showing someone driving straight into a parked police car. The person got out of the car with the game still running on his phone, making no attempt to hide what he had been doing.
Thankfully, there was no one in the police car at the time; it’s a heftier collision than we were expecting at first.
This isn’t the first time that police have told Pokémon Go players to put the app away while driving, and it may not be the last time either. But this video is a perfect warning for those tempted to catch Pokémon while driving. "That's what I get for playing this dumbass game," the driver says as he emerges from the car.
