Mafia 3 is actually coming, and this new feature focusses on the driving in the game.
That mix of stunt driving and a car with real weight and mass sounds like a bit of a refreshing change from the norm for open world games of this type, with a little effort needed to get the most out of your vehicle.
It's definitely a little different to the first game from 2002 where you had to drive under the speed limit and obey stop signs to avoid police attention. It was actually a really great way to experience the city and along with cars that felt agreeably ramshackle (it was set in the 1930s) really set the game apart.
Mafia 3 is obviously going a more mainstream route with its driving mechanics but that's also informed by it being set in the 60s and about a man on the edge who doesn't really care if he gets some attention from the law.
Mafia 3 is coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC on the 7th of October, 2016.
