Voting opens for FIFA 17 cover star

With FIFA 17’s release rapidly approaching, it’s time for EA to choose a player to put on the cover. This time, it’s leaving the choice up to the public with four players in the running.

Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez, Manchester United’s Anthony Martial, and Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus have the chance to star on the cover of FIFA 17. To cast your vote, all you have to do is visit the cover vote website (, sign into your EA account, and click the floating head of the player you’d like to see on the cover.

You can vote once per day, and voting more often will earn you a reward for FIFA 16 Ultimate Team. You can get your hands on a 3-match loan item or a gold pack, for example.

Check out the trailer below to see how they went about capturing footage of the players for the game and the potential cover, and then cast your vote for the player you feel is most deserving of the honour.

FIFA 17 will be released on September 29.
