Medal of Honor Warfighter is on the way this October and we’ve got some story trailer goodness to share with you today.

Compared to the rather basic story of the first (rebooted) Medal of Honor in 2010, EA and Danger Close seem to be really pushing the cinematic narrative with Warfighter. Here’s a glimpse at the behind the gun story for one of the Tier 1 operator characters you’ll play in the new game, codename Preacher.


It’s pretty heavy stuff, and all told with the Frostbite 2 engine which is living up to its remit of pushing current gen systems to their limit. Naturally, Warfighter will also feature a detailed multiplayer mode which will build on the successful foundation of the 2010 title.

Medal of Honor: Warfighter is coming to Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Wii U from October 23rd 2012.
