Warhammer board game Mordheim: City of the Damned announced
A press statement from publisher Focus Home Interactive and developer Rogue Factor announces a PC adaptation of the 1999 board game Mordheim: City of the Damned.

The 1999 board game, Mordheim: City of the Damned from Games Workshop is being adapted into a PC game by publisher Focus Home Interactive and developer Rogue Factor. Set in the Warhammer Fantasy universe, Mordheim: City of the Damned takes place in the Imperial capital city of Mordheim and focuses on battles that are much smaller in scale than typical Warhammer conflicts, which often have dozens of units on either side. According to the announcement, gameplay will focus on bringing the turn-based tactics of the board game to PC but will also include a blend of RPG elements and allow for unit customization. Expected to be released later this year, Mordheim: City of the Damned will be centered around a fallen comet that has turned the capital into a city-wide gang war.
