Watch Dogs hits 4 million sales worldwide
Ubisoft’s newest IP Watch Dogs appears to be going from strength to strength as the developer announced that it has sold more than 4 million copies in its first week.

The title got off to a strong start with more than 1 million copies sold in its first 24 hours and has added to that significantly since then. It is now Ubisoft’s best-selling game in week one.

According to Ubisoft UK sales director Darren Bowen, the results are incredible. He added that they “prove Ubisoft's commitment to developing new blockbuster IP and thoroughly new-gen experiences."

Ubisoft has made it clear that it hopes to turn Watch Dogs into another franchise, which means that it could be soon setting its sights on Assassin’s Creed. That franchise has racked up more than 76 million sales to date, making it Ubisoft’s best-selling franchise.
