DaigoUmehara and Bruce "GamerBee" Hsiang went toe-to-toe in a Street Fighter V exhibition match at the Taipei Game Show.
The event was not streamed, but footage of the match was captured from the crowd by those at Eventhubs. It isn’t as memorable as the Evo moment featuring Daigo recorded by the audience, but it’s good to see the game in action at least.
While it’s not a match out of the top drawer, there are still some interesting things to take away from the footage. Gamerbee was able to pull out an Omega Chun-Li, seemingly from nowhere, for example. One of the most notable things is that Street Fighter V’s gameplay appears to be quite a bit slower than its predecessor.
Capcom announced Street Fighter V at Sony's PlayStation Experience event in December 2014. Street Fighter V will be released on PC and Sony says that the PlayStation 4 “will be the only console this game ever appears on.”
